OK, OK, we admit it. Pee Wee is not a client. This is a little project we created way back at the dawn of the Internet for a "Designing Web Graphics" class. Our subject matter was inspired by Douglas Rushkoff's 1994 book, "Media Virus" and his chapter on "Kid's TV". We thought it was such a savvy commentary on the media and Pee-Wee's Playhouse in particular, we could not resist using the class project as an excuse to reprint excerpts from that chapter. Did we get permission from Douglas Rushkoff to reprint his stuff? Would Pee Wee have? Um, anyway, so, was PeeWee perverse, innocently wacky, or an unmitigated genius? You decide.
